Do you ever heard the place in AndhraPradesh that temperatures as low as 0°C ? Yes, it is Lambasingi exactly it reflects the Kashmir in winter seasons (December – January).
Lambasingi a small village situated in Chintapalli Mandal of Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh and a a little over 100 KMs from Vishakhapatnam. It is often known as 'Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh'. This village is situated at a height of above 1025 meters from the sea level.
Another name for this Lambasingi village is KorraBayalu. The story says 'A thief was caught at night and was tied to a tree as punishment and in the morning, his body was found frozen stiff due to the cold weather'. That is how this hamlet acquired this name. Korra means ´stick´, Bayalu means ‘outside’.
This is the only place in south india experiences almost 0°C temperature in winter, with snow spells. And not just in winters, but throughout the year, the temperatures stay below 10°C. Interestingly the places arround Lambasingi have temperatures as normal as all places.
Leisure travellers apart, Lambasingi also welcomed corporate team outings in the past two years. The nearby forest hill station Chintapalli is one more tourist attraction. Tajangi valley is best attraction in Chintapalli.

Lambasingi is connected through road and direct buses for the town are available from Visakhapatnam, Narsipatnam, Chintapalle and some more cities. It is 101 KMs from Visakhapatnam, 19 KMs from Chintapalle and 32 KMs from Narsipatnam.
